12/17/2005 - New Glarus and the Christmas tree

Yesterday we went to a swiss restaurant in New Glarus.

The food was quite good. We shared an order of Roesti, which must mean "artery clogger" in some other language. It was hash browns filled with cheese.

I ordered a dish called Pastetli, which was veal, chicken, and pork in a creamy wine-mushroom sauce with a pastry puff on top. It was quite good.

After dinner, we looked around new glarus a bit.



Then we went to her mother's house and hung out with her family and the big christmas tree.
