Bokeh Boogy

Well the new lens is pretty nice. I can take photos indoors with a lot less blur / darkness during normal indoor lighting conditions. The lens has no zoom so it takes a bit of getting used to in order to figure out how to get the right shot. After maybe 50 cat photos, I decided this lens was worth it.

There's some concept in photography called Bokeh, which refers to the subjective aesthetics of things out of focus. A good lens has good Bokeh. Apparently this El Cheapo lens has bad bokeh. I stared at the photos below for about half an hour and concluded that I don't know anything about photography, but I do like my cat.

Todd went well. I got some items off my wish list and some seemingly good ones not. Surprisingly, no one gave me a movie. That's for the best, because I got effectively 13 movies for christmas. I've got plenty to keep me busy in that arena. Especially considering 2 of them alone total 8 hours.
